What you'll be doing As our Staff Software Engineer in the Core Team, you'll play a defining and strategic role in shaping the backbone of our payment platform, ensuring reliability, consistency, and security for millions of users. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: - Define Technical Strategy : Define the long-term technical vision for our most critical domains, architecting complex subsystems that balance speed with extreme reliability. - Architect Core Financial Systems : Design and scale high-throughput engines responsible for the transaction ledger, payment orchestration, and bank integrations. - Own Identity & Security Infrastructure : Provide the foundational infrastructure for Identity and Access Management (IAM), building the layers that secure our users. - Engineer Risk & Fraud Solutions : Develop and optimize sophisticated services for credit risk management and real-time fraud detection to protect the ecosystem. - Technical Thought Leadership : Actively define requirements alongside Product Managers and stakeholders, translating high-level objectives into verifiable technical specifications. - Develop Talent : Mentor the next generation of engineers, fostering a culture of
