What you'll be doing As a Software Engineer, Backend in the Consumer Growth Team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of digital payments by designing and building scalable features that drive user growth and reduce friction for our community. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: - Own the Story Lifecycle : Take full ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle-from technical design to production release-ensuring that product stories are robust and scalable. - Accelerate Activation & Trust : Build and optimise high-reliability systems for onboarding, document verification, and security flows to ensure users can start transacting safely in minutes. - Drive Engagement & Discovery : Enhance the app experience by developing core backend services for shop discovery and personalised consumer journeys. - Scale Loyalty & Monetisation : Build the technical foundation for user retention, contributing to "Plus" subscription plans, referral programs, and loyalty mechanics. - Master a Modern Tech Stack : Take ownership of our AWS-based infrastructure and participate in architectural improvements across our growth-focused microservices. - Work
