Job Overview Saronic is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to lead the development and execution of electrical test strategies across our vehicle and subsystem programs. This role is responsible for architecting and executing comprehensive test plans aligned with the engineering design process, developing automated test equipment (ATE), and partnering cross-functionally to ensure electrical designs are thoroughly validated prior to release and deployment. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in electrical validation, hardware verification, and test automation within complex electromechanical systems. Key Responsibilities - Test Strategy & Execution - Develop and own comprehensive test plans in accordance with the engineering design process (requirements → design → verification → validation → release). - Translate system and subsystem requirements into structured verification matrices and executable test procedures. - Lead electrical verification efforts at board, subsystem, and system levels. - Design and execute functional, environmental, regression, reliability, and stress testing. - Drive root cause analysis for electrical failures and implement corrective validation strategies. - Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results. Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Development - Design, build, and deploy automated test equipment for PCBAs, harnesses, power systems, and integrated assemblies. - Develop automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar. - Create scalable test architectures to support engineering validation, production
