Lab Technician (f/m/d) Germering, , Germany Company Description: Job Description: As an Electronics Lab Technician at Renesas you will support the applications engineering team working on the development of Power Management ICs. You will be responsible for maintaining the lab and the equipment. You will support the team with evaluation board verifications, equipment/bench setup, evaluation board rework, soldering, replacement of soldered ICs, yearly calibration of the equipment, yearly ESD measurements of the lab, maintaining of lab benches, shipment & ordering requests. Having knowledge of automation & being able to run automated lab setups is a big bonus. Principal Responsibilities Assisting in setting up test rigs and supporting test & validation process. Soldering, board rework, IC replacement, validation board bring-up. Preparing requests for the purchase of necessary materials and equipment for the laboratory. Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment. Performing calibration of lab equipment & ESD measurements of the lab areas. Taking care of shipment & ordering requests. Communicating with suppliers for POs & Repairs. Tracking incoming and outgoing materials and equipment in the laboratory and ensuring inventory control. Support the development of the documentation, hardware and software required to enable a comprehensive silicon device evaluation. Qualifications: Minimum associate degree or proof of experience in Electrical/Electronic related field. Knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor or electronics related industry. Solder and rework experience. Identification and assembly of electronic components (BGA, 0201 package, etc.). Experience in reading schematics.
