About the role: We're searching for a Senior Accountant to join Remitly's Global Corporate Accounting team. As a senior accountant on the Accounting team, you will be a key contributor to the company's financial statements by supporting the month-end close process and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You will: Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance accounting systems, reporting infrastructure, and business processes, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Leverage automation and AI tools to streamline close activities, enhance analytical review processes, and improve documentation and reporting efficiency Develop, expand and improve month-end close and help drive the reduction of the close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related
