We are seeking a Director, Property Accounting to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid opportunity with approximately 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely after the training period. This Director-level role leads property accounting operations for a large portfolio while driving strategic change, process improvement, and cross-functional communication. The position is responsible for ensuring strong accounting compliance with GAAP and financial integrity, while also modernizing processes, implementing technology and analytics solutions, and improving how the team works across the organization. The role also develops talent, builds leadership capability, and partners with operational and financial stakeholders to align accounting processes with business priorities and enterprise strategy. What You'll Be Doing: Provide oversight and accountability for activities performed in the Property Accounting team relating to the national portfolio of properties and centralized processes to ensure financial integrity and operational excellence. Perform monthly review of portfolio to ensure accounting is in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Manage the day-to-day activities of the team, providing guidance and subject matter expertise as needed to ensure effective and efficient functioning of the department and to ensure all assigned activities are completed on time and
