Founded in 2017, we're delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have. Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain CapEx The Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain - Capital Equipment is a critical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end procurement, logistics, and supplier management of capital equipment supporting Redwood Materials' rapidly expanding manufacturing operations. This role owns the global sourcing strategy for equipment, partnering closely with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to deliver capital projects on time, on budget, and to specification. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in capital equipment procurement, a strong command of global supplier landscapes, and the ability to operate with urgency and precision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities will include: Capital Equipment Sourcing & Procurement - Lead global sourcing strategy for capital equipment across all Redwood facilities - Manage the full procurement lifecycle: requirements definition, RFQ/RFP development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contract execution, and purchase order management. - Develop and maintain a competitive, qualified supplier base capable of supporting Redwood's aggressive capacity expansion roadmap. - Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions through supplier negotiations, design-for-cost initiatives, and strategic sourcing levers. - Build and lead team that works closely with Engineering, Finance, and Project Management on equipment
