Analytical Laboratory Technician McCarran, NV About Redwood Materials Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling - keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we're delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have. Analytical Laboratory Technician The Analytical Lab Technician performs routine chemical and laboratory analytical tasks in support of production quality and safety at Redwood Materials facilities. Working under supervision for all assigned tasks, this role is responsible for executing established laboratory procedures per written SOPs and TCMs, accurate sample handling and data entry, basic instrument operation, and adherence to all chemical safety and documentation standards. This role develops foundational proficiency in analytical methods, laboratory information systems, and lab safety while building toward independent operation. Responsibilities will include: - Prepares samples for analysis using established tests and techniques. - Assists with and performs routine chemical, metrological, and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting. - Maintains laboratory instrumentation and equipment, including troubleshooting and performing verifications. - Works in a production environment, sampling and testing physical characteristics. - Performs additional duties as required, including lab organization, inventory, safety audits, and special projects. - Works effectively in both team and individual environments.
