Job Description: Location: Onsite at our care center - 7900 Fannin St # 4000, Houston, TX 77054 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering exceptional support to both physicians and patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be able to effectively manage a variety of front and back office duties. Essential Job Duties: Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring their comfort. Obtain and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history. Prepare patients for and assist physicians with exams and minor procedures. Administer injections and perform phlebotomy. Perform effective telephone triage by evaluating calls for emergencies. Provide clear and thorough patient education on health care concerns, medications, and procedures. Manage patient flow, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect co-pays and balances.
