ATS has been providing technology-based, innovative, high-value services to the company for over 35 years. The Instrument Calibration and Repair (IC&R) team provides quality calibration and repair services for a wide variety of equipment in use throughout PG&E. The services include measuring and test equipment testing, calibration, and repairs. The unit has 'Primary and Secondary Standards' capabilities in several areas including AC and DC voltage, current, resistance, temperature, pressure, airflow, dimensional, time and frequency. Position Summary This position is represented by Engineers and Scientists of California (ESC) subject to collective bargaining. The Engineering Technician II, Calibration is responsible for performing calibration activities across a variety of laboratory environments, including high-voltage electrical labs, pressure, mechanical and dimensional labs, and temperature laboratories. The role encompasses duties of a difficult nature, requiring both independent and collaborative work to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical standards.
