Job Description: Pentair's Brookfield Manufacturing site is currently looking for a new Quality Technician on first shift to assist with our Machine Shop operations. First Shift hours are 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with Overtime optional and often required. This role will be responsible for gathering data and documenting quality levels by performing dimensional and visual inspections, sampling incoming shipments, and appraising production using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. Whoever is selected for this position will also responsible for: Documenting anything found that doesn't meet our high quality standards and helping contain and action of these issues in a timely manner. Helping create or update documentation. Identifying and leading efforts to improve manufacturing processes Collaborating with Engineering to test and inspect products Evaluating and processing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation Qualifications: Qualified Applicants will be prepared to demonstrate: 3 years of related Quality or Manufacturing experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to use standard measurement equipment and tools Basic computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook) The physical requirements of the job will include: Ability to lift, carry, push, bend, twist, kneel, squat Near vision, color discrimination,
