About this role
Head of Communications New York - Remote, New York, United States About Paxos Today's financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky - supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we're rebuilding it. We're on a mission to open the world's financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we've built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world's leading financial institutions, like PayPal, Venmo, Mastercard and Interactive Brokers. About the role The Head of Communications will build and lead Paxos' communications strategy across executive, corporate, policy, internal and product communications. This leader will own how Paxos shows up with the media, regulators, partners, and employees, re-establishing our presence in key conversations while supporting a highly regulated, global business. What you'll do - Define and execute a long-term, global communications strategy that integrates executive, corporate, policy, internal, and product narratives into a coherent story for Paxos. - Lead media and press relations, including proactive storytelling and responsive reputation management, to return Paxos to a strong presence in key financial and crypto outlets. - Own company-wide internal and executive communications in partnership with existing internal comms and marketing, especially around high-stakes, regulated topics and major company milestones. - Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO & the executive team, shaping narratives, recommendations, and decision-ready options on communications strategy and execution. - Use AI
