POSITION SUMMARY Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Storage & Backup Administrator. Day-to-day activities include developing and documenting system specifications, implementing hardware and OS, maintaining high operational uptime stringent SLAs, coordinating with applications and database teams and other operational and project-based tasks please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications listed below. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Key Responsibilities: · Perform tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements with end-users regarding storage allocations, limitations, security, and availability. · Perform and test backups and restores to ensure that enterprise data is effectively protected. · Communicate and enforce, through system procedures, data storage retention policies. · Follow change control, incident response, and testing processes for modifications to storage appliances and software. · Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolve issues with storage
