Overview: Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd shift will be working 3:00p-1:30a, Monday-Thursday as needed in both the Door and Glass Plants. Overtime and Call In hours may be required to repair equipment breakdowns to minimize plant downtime. Responsibilities: Mechanical Maintenance performs major mechanical repairs and fabricating of new equipment with minimal supervision to ensure proper performance and safety of equipment. Complete Preventative Maintenance programs and train others. Follow manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications, drawings and diagrams to troubleshoot malfunctions and monitor compliance of equipment. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, determine wear on parts by using calipers, micrometers, and measuring devices. Follow LOTO procedures.
