EHS Coordinator Stanley, VA PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator serves as an extension of site leadership within an industrial manufacturing environment. This hands-on, onsite role is responsible for driving an injury-free and incident-free workplace through visible floor presence, effective coaching, disciplined execution of EHS management systems, and employee engagement. The EHS Coordinator supports regulatory compliance, Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) risk reduction, Human Performance Improvement (HPI), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and environmental stewardship. The role partners closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate workplace risk. This position requires daily engagement in the production environment and flexibility to support multiple shifts, including off-shifts as operational needs require. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Engagement Lead by example in all aspects of Environmental, Health & Safety while reinforcing Owens Corning's safety-first culture. Maintain regular onsite presence in an industrial manufacturing environment supporting 24-hour operations. Coach supervisors and employees through floor engagement, safety observations, and proactive risk-based discussions. Support site EHS goals and initiatives; act as a delegated decision-maker in the absence of the EHS Leader as required.
