About this role

Vendor Specialist, Data Center Facilities Operations - Michigan MI, United States, US This position will be full-time on-site at Oracle's new Michigan AI data center, located in Saline Township, 35 miles southwest of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Relocation assistance may be available in accordance with Oracle's relocation policies. As a Vendor Specialist - Data Center Facilities, you will serve as a key owner of vendor execution across OCI's mission-critical data center environments. This role is responsible for helping ensure vendor contracts translate into safe, reliable, and timely operational outcomes that protect uptime, support service delivery, and align with Oracle standards. You will manage vendor-facing processes across the lifecycle, including onboarding, performance tracking, issue resolution, compliance follow-up, and cross-functional coordination. This role partners closely with Site Operations, Facilities Managers, Service Managers, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering teams to improve vendor performance, reduce execution risk, and support continuity of critical services. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong judgment, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Own vendor execution activities across assigned sites, services, or programs, ensuring contracts and service scopes are carried out in alignment with uptime, safety, quality, and operational expectations. Support end-to-end vendor lifecycle activities, including selection support, onboarding, contract implementation, performance tracking, issue management, and compliance follow-up. Track vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery commitments; drive corrective actions and escalate recurring or systemic issues.
