About this role
Software Development Snr Manager Seattle, WA, United States, US As the Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building Oracle's enterprise Agent Platform from scratch. This is an SLT-sponsored initiative focused on creating the foundation for hosting long-running AI agents in enterprise environments. The work is early, high-impact, and highly visible. You will help define the platform architecture, product experience, operating model, and onboarding path for other teams across Oracle. This role is for someone who wants to build at the frontier, not simply operate an existing system. You will lead an initial team of five engineers, with the scope expected to grow quickly as we identify and build the core platform capabilities. You will work across organizations, turn ambiguity into clear execution, and shape how enterprise teams build, deploy, observe, and govern agentic systems. We are looking for a leader who loves coaching and mentoring engineers while staying close to the technology. You should be comfortable with fast iteration, evolving requirements, and deeply technical product decisions. Familiarity with AI agent concepts such as agent harnesses, memory, human-in-the-loop workflows, safety and guardrails, orchestration, and operational reliability will help you be effective in this role. This is an opportunity to work on complex problems with strong executive support, access to modern AI tools, and collaboration with some of the strongest technical teams in the company. The right person will combine technical judgment, product intuition, and people leadership to help lay the foundation for Oracle's enterprise agent platform. #LI-ES2 Lead
