MEP Coordinator, Mechanical - Stargate Remote - US, United States This is a full-time onsite role based in Burlington, TX. 5 days/week onsite in Burlington are expected/required. About the Team: OpenAI, in close collaboration with our capital partners, is embarking on a journey to build the world's most advanced AI infrastructure ecosystem. The Stargate team is central to this mission, setting the core infra strategy and implementing this vision. From site selection to the buildout process, this team sits at the intersection of commercial, technical, strategy, and operations, interacting with teams and executives inside and outside of OpenAI. About The Job OpenAI's Stargate program is scaling the infrastructure required to power frontier-scale AI systems. We are seeking a Mechanical Coordinator to oversee field execution of cooling and mechanical systems at our Burlington, TX campus. In This Role, You Will - Manage installation of chilled-water systems, MCUPs, CDUs, TES tanks, pumps, valves, and piping. - Oversee ductwork, air-handling, and hydronic systems to ensure design compliance and constructability. - Coordinate closely with electrical, controls, and commissioning teams to ensure system readiness. - Review submittals, track equipment deliveries, and support material inspections. - Conduct field walks for QA/QC, punch-list management, and mechanical completion verification. - Support startup and turnover documentation with the commissioning team. - Maintain accurate as-built information and report progress against schedule milestones.
