A Day in the Life As a Senior Vegetation and Wetland Ecologist, in our Calgary or Edmonton Alberta office, you'll be part of our Western Terrestrial Services Team. The successful applicant will be mostly office based (80%) with some field support and site visits (20%). The compensation range for this role is $90,000-$144,000 annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. To thrive in this role, you'll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Manage and provide senior technical input on vegetation and wetland technical work including environmental assessments, biophysical impact assessments, environmental evaluations and wetland assessments Support business development activities such as proposals and cost estimates Provide technical input and support to our intermediate and junior staff on a variety of project Design and execute complex biological investigations and oversee field surveys Prepare and/or review
