About the Position Old Mission Capital, a global quantitative proprietary trading firm, is hiring a Systematic Equity Trader to work in our New York City office. The Systematic Equity Trader will be responsible for developing and implementing systematic equity strategies. Responsibilities - Work closely with internal engineering and research teams to develop proprietary trading strategies, theoretical pricing models, and risk management techniques. - Collaborate with the team on intraday/short-term alpha research, focusing on idea generation, data gathering, research/analysis, and model implementation for systematic trading strategies. - Utilize sound financial insight and statistical learning techniques to explore, analyze, and harness a wide range of datasets building predictive models. - Design and implement short-term trading strategies using Python and C++ which use Old Mission's low-latency trading infrastructure to produce superior risk-adjusted returns.
