About this role
Storeperson Aberdeen, United Kingdom As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in our demanding Warehouse department within the Oil and Gas sector. Your responsibilities will include rotational duties such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, as well as operating a forklift within the warehouse and yard. You will ensure accurate goods receipt, storage, and distribution, and assist with inventory management and reconciliation. With limited on-the-job mentoring, you will demonstrate Oceaneering's Core Values and adhere to safety and warehousing procedures. Execute rotational duties within the Warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping. Operate a Forklift for internal and external material handling. Check and receive goods from suppliers, offshore, and intercompany transfers. Locate stock in designated areas and maintain inventory records. Prepare invoices and book out equipment/spares to workshops and job sites. Assist with cycle counts, stock-taking, and inventory reconciliation. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to refine processes. Perform driving duties for local collections and deliveries. Participate in on-call duties and respond to warehouse needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment. Excellent communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks. Basic computing skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Warehouse Management System software (Peoplesoft ERP). Experience in supply and demand management, including forecasts, receipt/delivery processes, and inventory accuracy validation. Valid UK driving license. Forklift Qualification (B1/P1/B2/B3) is beneficial but not essential. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations (by Sea and Air) is an advantage. A
