About this role
Sr. Surveyor C Houston, TX, United States The Senior Surveyor is the expert in and leads other in operating Survey and Positioning equipment in a safe and efficient manner, and maintaining and repairing all electronic censoring, associated with survey equipment. Offshore position located in the Gulf of Mexico and other remote global locations. Ability to travel domestically and overseas as assigned. Expert in and leads others in installing, calibrating, and operating surface and subsea sensors for the real-time position determination of vessels and remotely operated vehicles below the water. Expert in and leads others in operating equipment to include cameras (video and still), acoustic positioning systems, sonars, subsea tooling, surface positioning systems. Knowledge of Surveyor data collection and analysis process. Expert in and leads others in how to maintains of parts and supplies inventory. All other duties assigned. REQUIRED: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Five (5) to Eight (8) years' experience in the Survey or Geoscience industry as a Survey Professional Must have or be able to obtain TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) - US Must be able to obtain a valid Passport and any other regionally mandated offshore work requirement documents as appropriate. DESIRED: Two (2) year Technical Degree or higher in field of study preferred. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent desired Current security clearance or ability to obtain security clearance KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS : Team Leadership/ Decision Making/ Planning and Organizing/ Developing Others: Expresses pride in the group and encourages people
