About this role
Sr. IT Manager, Office of the CITO Houston, TX, United States As the Sr. IT Manager, Office of the CITO, you will play a pivotal role in helping the CITO to shape the organization's technology strategy to ensure seamless IT operations. As a member of the IT Leadership Team, two crucial objectives are ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to the application of information and technology (I&T) across the enterprise, and ensuring a consistent, transparent and efficient approach to the way the IT organization delivers value to the business. The position focuses on ensuring that the IT organization "does the right things" through strategy and governance, as well as "doing things right" through organizational and operational model development and performance management. A few key aspects of the role include: Strategic Planning and Alignment Collaborate with the CITO and the ITLT to align technology initiatives with the overall business objectives. Assist the CITO to annually refresh the Oceaneering 4-year systems roadmap. Identify emerging technologies and work with others on the IT leadership team to assess their impact to the organization. Makes decisions and recommendations clearly linked to the organization's strategy and financial goals, reflecting an awareness of external dynamics. Defines strategic imperatives in terms of the links between increased value, enterprise needs and technological solutions Solicits advice, support, championship, sponsorship and commitment that result in smooth transitions of change and the development of mutually acceptable solutions.
