About this role

Project Management Office (PMO) Hanover, MD, United States This includes analyzing the division's needs and setting goals for the staff and the projects. The PMO Manager supports resource allocation, staff development, and implementing processes to ensure the Portfolios, Programs, and Projects execute their deliverables smoothly. Manage the PMO consistent with Oceaneering values and guidelines with respect to safety, quality, and business ethics. Apply professional competencies and management skills to support divisional project execution in the core elements of scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, and procurement to meet project requirements. Apply personal competencies and leadership skills to lead the division's PMO from start-up through project support. Support divisional plan to establish a framework that gives project managers a structured approach to govern their projects. Take a primary role in training project managers in software tool use, project management basics, and leadership. Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects. Decide on suitable strategies and objectives. Coordinate cross-project activities and requests. Lead and evaluate Project Management Directorate and other assigned staff. Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities for PMO initiatives. Apply change, risk and resource management for PMO initiatives. Assume responsibility for the PMO's people and vendors. Assist the PMO Technical Director in determining the most effective and productive methods to enhance department and program capabilities, maintain safety, control UDCs, and implement value engineering where appropriate.
