About this role
Inspection Engineer Swansea, United Kingdom As an Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments of our clients onshore and offshore assets, including pipelines, vessels, tankage and pressure equipment. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability in the oil and gas industry. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact on our operations. Conduct in-depth inspections and assessments of onshore and offshore equipment and infrastructure. Identify potential risks and hazards, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Prepare detailed inspection reports and provide recommendations for maintenance and repair. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Utilize advanced inspection techniques and technologies to detect and analyze defects. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) as required, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities. Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and ensure knowledge transfer. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in inspection and maintenance. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel involved in inspection activities. BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or working towards a similar qualification. Minimum of five years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on inspections. EEMUA 159 One or several of the following: API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME VIII D1, ASME II, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4 & 31.8, and ASME Level 1 or Level 2 Plant Inspector
