About this role

Inside Machinist II $5,000 Sign On Bonus Chesapeake, VA, United States Oceaneering Marine Services Division (MSD) has over 30 years of experience providing full-service submarine and surface ship repairs supporting maintenance and alterations aboard commercial and U.S. military vessels. We are SUBSAFE and DSS-SOC certified and perform high-consequence maintenance on assets that operate in demanding environments. Oceaneering Aerospace and Defense Technologies (AdTech) delivers solutions that enable human CNC PROGRAMMING & SETUP: Review and edit CNC programs (lathe and mill) using G-code and CAM platforms. Set up, align, and secure workpieces, fixtures, and tooling on CNC and manual machines. Conduct first-article runs and validate programs to ensure dimensional accuracy and repeatability. MACHININ REQUIRED: High School Diploma/GED. Minimum two (2) years' experience machining complex submarine, aerospace, defense, nuclear, or similarly critical components in a precision or defense manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency in CNC programming (lathe and mill).
