About this role
Engineering Analyst Pune, Maharashtra, India As an Engineering Analyst, you will verify compliance of designs with strength and functional requirements through detailed engineering analysis and calculations for SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines) systems, directly supporting Oceaneering's project delivery objectives. Working under supervision, this role is critical to Oceaneering's delivery capability as you take ownership of assigned scopes, make sound decisions on routine engineering activities, and demonstrate initiative in achieving team goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Your ability to deliver high‑quality engineering outcomes on time, while collaborating and communicating effectively, will define your success in this role. This role is expected to be based 100% in the office during the initial 6-12 months to enable strong foundational learning, close collaboration with Senior Analysts, and accelerated development through hands‑on project exposure. As proficiency and role readiness are established, the position transitions to a hybrid work arrangement, enabling a balance between focused independent work and effective collaboration across project teams. This phased approach supports long‑term work‑life harmony while continuing to contribute effectively to global projects from anywhere. Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis to support internal project execution, technical training, and professional development activities. Needs to perform following activities under supervision: Study inputs available (drawings, CAD models, technical documents) for a product / design Establish analysis approach and schedule Verify compliance to strength & functional requirements of designs through Engineering analysis & calculations Interpret & use industry codes & standards relevant to product being worked upon Review analysis
