About the Role We are looking for an experienced leader to be our AV Mechanical Design Manager and lead our world class team of engineers. In this role you will be responsible for the research, design, and delivery of our autonomous hardware solutions that enable Nuro's autonomous driving systems. This work spans electronics packaging, sensor packaging, vehicle integrations, and sensor weather mitigation, and success requires the ability to manage the full product lifecycle, key partnerships with electrical and software engineering counterparts, and long term R&D efforts. Leading this team will also require strong organizational and communications skills. You will be responsible for managing a large engineering team working across multiple product lines, driving a culture of accountability and technical rigor, and developing the people and processes of the team.
