Position Specific Description Job Overview This position oversees and performs estimating functions on major projects in the power sector, including wind, transmission, gas pipelines, solar, fossil, energy storage and distributed generation. Employees in this role develop, interpret, and execute policy objectives and standards applicable to estimating activities. Successful candidates work with other project team members to assess project risk and cost exposure, during the development and execution phases. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Works collaboratively with early stage project managers, to determine project priorities and work plans required to meet corporate objectives with limited estimating resources • Manages Engineering and Construction department estimating resources, to provide effective estimating support company-wide • Performs project due diligence, including assessment of costs for design options and project optimization • Prepares capital cost estimates • Obtains commitments from early stage project managers, as necessary, to support project estimating schedules • Determines necessary procedu
