About this role
Educational Data Analyst Remote - US We are seeking a skilled Educational Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves direct interaction with school district administrators to understand their data analysis needs and challenges. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining custom data dashboards while managing and updating data integrations. This role will report to the Head of Data Science. Why you'll love this role: - Engage with school district leaders and educators to understand their data analytics needs and to educate diverse stakeholders on how to effectively use the dashboards to interpret data. - Design and develop customized metrics and dashboards. - Utilize SQL for database management and queries, ensuring accurate and accessible data solutions. - Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the data dashboards by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving platform and data quality issues to ensure reliable reporting and effective data modeling. - Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and Product to enhance the data platform. Why you're a great fit: - Experience in working with educational data and familiarity with K-12 schools. - Experience working with data visualization tools and dashboard design. - Ability to translate complex data into digestible and actionable information. - Advanced SQL skills. - Experience working independently on projects. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Passion for education and improving educational outcomes. - +4 years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or similar role. - Nice to Have: Experience with Python for data cleaning, analysis,
