Job Summary: The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving product and process quality in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to prevent defects, drive root-cause corrective actions, and ensure compliance with internal quality systems and applicable standards. The position uses data-driven problem solving and continuous improvement methods to reduce scrap/rework, improve yields, and strengthen supplier and customer quality performance. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing quality plans, control plans, inspection/verification methods, and reaction plans for key processes. Lead structured problem solving for internal nonconformances, customer complaints, and supplier issues; verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Analyze process performance using SPC and capability studies (Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk)
