The Role We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Fusion engineering team, focused on building systems that ingest, process, and analyze network cloud telemetry such as flow and DNS logs. This is a high-impact, hands-on technical leadership role. You will design and scale distributed systems that power real-time detection, while influencing architecture, standards, and engineering practices across teams. What You'll Do - Design and build scalable backend systems using Go and Python - Develop and evolve high-throughput data pipelines for network flow and DNS telemetry - Architect systems for real-time and near real-time data processing - Improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of platform services - Lead design and code reviews, setting a high bar for engineering quality - Drive cross-team architecture and platform alignment - Partner with product and detection teams to deliver shared platform capabilities - Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
