About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Transmission Operations Specialist to serve as the architect of our global signal acquisition strategy. As we scale to support high-density concurrent events, we are organizing transmission coordination operations efforts within the Broadcast Operations & Transmission team. In this role, you will be the "lead of transmission logistics". You will bridge the gap between production and broadcast operations, ensuring that every dollar spent on connectivity delivers maximum reliability and quality. You will take full ownership of the Transmission information in our Transmission book (the single source of truth for our Broadcast Operation) and negotiate the complex landscape of satellite, fiber, and IP contribution vendors to support our productions and our team in the Transmission Operations Center. *Key Responsibilities* Strategic Acquisition & Vendor Management Centralized Procurement: Take ownership of booking satellite time (C-band, Ku-band), fiber circuits, and cellular bonding equipment, transitioning these duties away from third-party production companies to secure preferential rates without markups.
