Netflix is recruiting for a Manager, Licensing. Based in our Los Angeles office, the Manager will be a key member of the content licensing team, focusing on licensing content from content creators, podcasters, independent distributors and publishers for the global Netflix service. They will hold a pivotal role in supporting Netflix's growth in new content verticals, pursuing and evaluating new creator and podcast opportunities, negotiating and executing deals, and supporting in crafting and iterating of content strategies, all with the goal of delivering best in class licensed content to Netflix subscribers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, balancing an intense attention to detail with the ability to grasp the broader strategic vision. Mastery of both verbal and written communication is essential for leading meetings, delivering presentations to all organizational levels, negotiating deals, and managing external relationships. The Manager, Licensing & Partnerships must thrive in a fast-paced environment - showing initiative, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively prioritizing between immediate deadlines and long-term objectives. They should have a sophisticated understanding of the evolving media landscape and be passionate about emerging
