About this role
Supply Chain Manager Remote It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they are doing! The Supply Chain Manager oversees the analysis of forecast projections and delivery improvements of products and services to its customers. Lead supply planners in ensuring inventory levels prevent back order while also protecting the company from excess inventory and scrap risk. Leads and fosters relationships with cross-functional work teams and external parties, such as suppliers and distributors to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficacy of supply chain function. This position is also responsible for maintenance and review of proper levels of safety stock, finished good inventory levels, and OTIF service to the customer. This position is a hybrid role and will require travel to Lansing, MI or Mt. Sterling, KY locations periodically. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Determining how to best execute and leverage of tools for better supply chain flow which will drive better capacity management, inventory and planning. Support key business partners to ensure supply chain is aligned and synergized to drive growth and leverage to produce optimal results. Identifying solutions and resolving issues between demand planning, manufacturing, and supply chain/logistics. Manage Supply Chain Planning team members by coaching and developing skillsets along with annual performance reviews. Manage and execute annual Department budget, including staffing, capital, and operating expenses. Prepare and present metrics, reports, and analysis of Department data as required.
