Role Purpose We're looking for an experienced Echocardiographer to join our multidisciplinary team in London. This is a key role focused on delivering high-quality, independent echocardiographic assessments. You'll perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), including Global Longitudinal Strain (GLS), and produce accurate, immediate reports - working autonomously without cardiologist oversight. This is a locum role based at our clinics in central Birmingham. Shifts available include daytime, evenings, and Saturdays. What You'll Deliver in the First 6-12 Months - Conduct comprehensive transthoracic echocardiographic examinations in accordance with British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) standards. - Independently interpret and report echocardiographic findings, ensuring timely delivery of results to clients and referring clinicians. - Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to integrate echocardiographic findings into holistic health assessments. - Participate in regular cardiology multidisciplinary team meetings. - Liaise directly with our cardiologist where needed. - Understand and follow our escalation protocols. - Participate in quality assurance activities, including audit and peer review,
