In support of this objective, the engineer is responsible for performing calibrations, internal audits, maintaining external compliance including ISO, UL and assist in training inspection personnel. This position reports to the Engineering/Quality Manager. Duties and Responsibilities Main duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of production parts to verify conformance with specifications and procedures. Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements. Investigate product defects and complaints to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Monitor risk-management procedures, and use problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development teams Using data to interpret trends, standard deviation, and control charts to maintain quality KPI. Provide training and support to quality assurance team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes. Validate incoming, in-process and outgoing products and documents inspection results including first article inspections. Conduct supplier audits and manage incoming material quality. Performs internal audits to verify conformance with quality requirements. Validate and maintain calibration records and services. Proactively improve production efficiency
