We are looking for people with a wide range of skills that encompass all things mechanical and electrical. A willingness to learn new skills is crucial. The candidate will work from drawings and sketches to build parts, frames and assemble equipment used in production machinery. The individual will need to be well versed in welding. Welding certification is also a plus. The ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics is a positive. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Build production machinery used in our manufacturing locations Performs grinding, fitting-up, fixturing parts, sanding and welding per design drawing. GMAW or GTAW Welding Welding, Fabrication, and Machine assembly Work from drawings and sketches to build parts, frames and equipment used in production machinery. Electrical and pneumatic assembly as required Create sub-assemblies from fabricated parts Troubleshoot and provide feedback on machines and systems currently under maintenance REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 3-5 years Metal Fabrication, Welding, and Equipment Assembly (minimum) Certification is a plus POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM CLASSIFICATION
