Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (2026-2027) Michigan Online School About the Team Michigan Online School (MOS) is a K-12 tuition-free online public school in the state of Michigan. At MOS, we empower students to be their best by enabling them to learn in ways that are right for them - using innovative technology at home, at their proper level, and at their own pace. Working in cooperation with appropriate district supervisors, teachers, parents and students, the Speech Language Pathologist shall be responsible for providing diagnostic and intervention services for students with speech, language and hearing disorders, helping students to adjust and access the general education curriculum. Please note - while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events. Eligibility: Open to residents of Michigan About the Opportunity - Provide high quality virtual speech-language therapy services to a wide variety of students in grades K-12 in Michigan - Conduct standard and non-standardized assessments, analyze results and write reports to determine strengths and concerns in the areas of motor speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, literacy, and dysphagia - Develop treatment plans that are strengths-based as well as child and family-centered - Ensure that IEP, Evaluation and progress monitoring procedures adhere to the district, state and federal guidelines - Comply with the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) that impact speech-language pathologists - Initiate, participate in and follow
