Primary Objective: In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position. Under direction of the department supervisor, operates equipment and verifies the correct material is used in production for each product. In the assigned area, provides work guidance and training to junior operators. Perform duties under moderate supervision following standard procedures and processing guidelines. This position will act as an interim supervisor as needed by the business. Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate. Provides work guidance to junior team members. Monitors the performance efficiency of personnel within the assigned area and works with management to formulate plans for team training and development needs. Provides assistance and leads junior team members in achieving production goals while placing strong emphasis on safety procedures
