Primary Objective: Monitors operation of all machines within the department to ensure optimal production efficiencies Major Functions and Scope: Operates, adjusts industrial machinery and equipment to be within the parameters of the product. Ensures all product is processed within the department assigned. Performs quality checks of work and documents on appropriate paperwork. Cleans machinery, equipment, and work area with provided supplies and utensils. Maintains and fixes production equipment of assigned department. Assists on training operators within the department. Works with technicians and contractors within the department on training procedures and maintenance of machinery.
