About this role

Accountant Limassol, Lemesos, Cyprus Mayflower is a technology company that alters the entertainment industry to a new level of perception and engagement. Now we look for an Accountant to join our Accounting team. Job Responsibilities - Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries; - Perform Accounts Reconciliations (Customers, Vendors, Bank, eWallets, Payment Processors) for a large volume of data; - Create and manage invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts; - Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports (income statements and balance sheets); - Preparation and submission of VAT (OSS, VIES) and other VAT declarations; - Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits, providing necessary documentation; - Keeping proper books of account and financial records in the Accounting Software. You will thrive here if you have… - Bachelor's in accounting and finance, Economics or another related field - ACA/ACCA qualified or partly qualified will be considered an advantage - Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting/Audit is essential - Strong knowledge of IFRS - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially excel) and experience working with big data reconciliations - Experience with payment processors and transaction reconciliation will be considered an advantage - Knowledge of VAT will be considered an advantage - Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 software will be considered an advantage; - Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work in a team - Proficient in Greek and English (Written & Spoken) Conditions We know
