Lisbon Valley Mining Company utilizes modern surface mining methods-including drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling-to deliver ore to its crushing and heap leach processing facilities. Our success depends on safe, reliable equipment performance, supported by a skilled and safety-focused maintenance team. Position Summary The Mine Maintenance Technician plays a critical hands-on role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of mobile mining equipment and supporting infrastructure. This position performs inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, support vehicles, and associated systems in both shop and field environments. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in mining or heavy industrial environments, and a commitment to safe work practices. This role directly supports production by minimizing downtime, improving equipment health, and maintaining a safe and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Repair - Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics and repairs on mobile mining equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, and ancillary equipment. - Conduct preventive maintenance activities in accordance with OEM guidelines and established maintenance schedules. - Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. - Service and repair auxiliary equipment such as
