The Role As a Build Reliability Engineer at Mach Industries, you will own quality and reliability for one or more of our aircraft systems. You'll partner closely with Build Engineers (on prototypes and first articles), Manufacturing Engineers (on production ramp), and Design Engineers to ensure reliable hardware from NPI through flight testing and scale. This hands-on role blends process development, failure investigation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-reliability autonomous defense platforms at speed. Key Responsibilities - Develop manufacturing, integration, assembly, welding, NDE, cleanliness, and checkouts processes from the ground up. - Replicate processes and enforce consistency across different work centers. - Partner closely with design teams to optimize design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and ensure requirements are fully met. - Aggressively refine requirements and manufacturing processes where design intent conflicts with production rate or scalability.
