Job Summary The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical and electronic systems across assigned vessels. This role serves as the primary shore-side technical lead for shipboard electrical matters, supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, drydock planning, projects, compliance, and system reliability across the fleet. Essential Duties Provide technical support to shipboard engineering teams for electrical system operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability. Serve as the primary shore-side escalation point for complex electrical, automation, navigation, communication, and related system issues. Plan and oversee electrical maintenance, drydock work, repairs, and upgrade projects. Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, SOLAS, USCG, and company SMS requirements. Maintain technical records, support audits and investigations, and provide periodic reporting on vessel condition and key risks. Support purchasing, budgeting, vendor coordination, and project execution for assigned vessels. Conduct vessel visits to assess system condition, support troubleshooting, and identify improvement opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent maritime technical qualification
