Engineering Manager: Guidewire PolicyCenter Platform Job summary: Responsible for hiring, managing, and deploying resources across team(s) to enable optimal alignment of staff to business priorities. Coaches and evaluates performance and quality of work delivered by team members. Creates a motivating environment and ensures the team is constantly learning and delivering quality code. Understands tools, architecture, security, and scalability needs for assigned team(s); provides technical engineering guidance, especially with less experienced team members. Manages total cost of ownership, advocates for removal of technical debt, and supports team effectiveness. Champions agile methodology and practices. In addition, this role owns the technical delivery and ongoing health of the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform (part of Liberty Mutual's Unified Insurance Platform), ensuring scalability, reliability, maintainability, security, and upgradeability.
