Health and Safety Specialist Reno, NV, US Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Specialist to join the Data, Power and Control Team in Reno, NV. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Health & Safety Specialist to support and enhance our workplace safety and environmental compliance programs. The Health & Safety Specialist will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. The Health and Safety specialist, as with all members of the Legrand Team, is expected to promote a positive attitude, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise confidentiality. Main Job Duties: · Under the leadership of the H&S manager, the H&S Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the Reno facility follows all state, federal, and OSHA regulations regarding health and safety. · This role will collaborate with global stakeholders to promote regulatory compliance, share best practices, and support consistent EHS reporting and performance metrics across locations. · Compliance & Auditing: Conduct daily or weekly walkthroughs to identify and correct potential hazards, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local fire codes.
