OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB To manage freight procurement activities to support Lear operations under his/her regional scope, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions. This role involves planning, vendor management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance. SCOPE OF THE POSITION Prepare and execute RFQ's to fulfil the transportation needs under his/her regional scope. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Collaborates with management to align transport sourcing proposals with carrier strategy goals. Oversee and assesses overall carrier performance. Drives continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Supply Chain Design team. Lead LOP calls with Lear operations under his/her scope and drives route implementation process.
