Job Description: We have an opening for a Target Fabrication Production Manager within our National Ignition Facility (NIF). NIF is the world's most powerful and energetic laser. You will be responsible for managing the team that is involved with the timely production of NIF and OMEGA targets at LLNL. You will be responsible for the various aspects of scheduling and workflow for delivery of laser targets. You will deliver quality targets on-time for the NIF and other facilities. You will work with the Master Scheduler to develop assembly and metrology schedules in support of on-time delivery of laser targets. You will lead a team of assemblers and support staff across multiple assembly locations. You will assign production resources, track production metrics, and propose process improvements. This role will be in the Target Fabrication Program, within the NIF & Photon (NIF&PS) Science Directorate. This position resides in the Laser Systems Engineering & Operations (LSEO) Division within the Engineering
