Job Description: We have an opening for a Nuclear Facility Senior Electrical Project Engineer to provide engineering support for new construction, upgrades to electrical facility systems, and modifications to laboratory facilities. You will participate in new and ongoing projects with technical responsibilities including design, development, fabrication, integration, testing and fielding of facility projects and upgrades. You will often be involved in significant R&D projects, applying your expertise and creating innovative solutions. You will additionally apply advanced technical knowledge in electrical engineering to develop conceptual ideas into workable and cost-effective solutions that maintain facilities, supporting research and investigations of nuclear materials. This position will report programmatically to the Facility Projects Manager in the Superblock. This position is in the Defense Technologies Engineering Division (DTED) within the Engineering Directorate. This position requires full-time on-site presence due to the nature of the work.
